The Penis Envy Cubensis magic mushrooms are recognized for their medium to large size. They boast thick, lengthy stems and meaty caps. On closer inspection, the mushroom resembles the male reproductive system, from which it derives its unique name. These magic mushrooms hold a reputation for being the most potent in the Psilocybe Cubensis category.
However, cultivating Penis Envy presents a significant challenge. They require the longest cultivation time, and only about 10% of the mushrooms will yield spores. The unique growth nature of these shrooms typically results in caps that are barely opened. Moreover, even when the caps do open, the stem continues to grow, both longer and thicker, a phenomenon atypical of Cubensis class Magic Mushrooms.

History of the Penis Envy Cubensis

The pioneering figure behind the Penis Envy mushroom is the late mycologist, Terence McKenna, a well-respected name within the Magic Mushroom community. As a renowned author and scientist, he managed to manipulate an Amazonian mushroom variety, resulting in the creation of the Penis Envy strain.

Effects of the Penis Envy

Due to their high levels of Psilocybin and Psilocin, Penis Envy mushrooms are not recommended for beginners. On average, these mushrooms are 1.5 to 3 times more potent than certain other varieties. Their extended growth period allows for more extended production and storage of the active compounds.
